Deion Sanders Shrugs Off Lost Playbook Report Against Texas Tech, Saying: 'It’s over. Game's Over'
Sanders said the Buffaloes still scored on the opening drive and blamed a sideline miscommunication for a nine-player field-goal block unit.
- On Tuesday, Colorado coach Deion Sanders dismissed claims that a leaked offensive game script impacted the team's 29-7 loss to Texas Tech on October 3, 2026.
- Images of the Buffaloes' game plan, reportedly left at the team hotel, appeared on social media before kickoff, sparking questions about team preparation and sideline management.
- Sanders questioned the script's authenticity, noting Colorado scored on their opening drive. "We could have the opposing team's first 10-15 plays, but we still have to stop it," Sanders said.
- Ahead of Saturday's game against unbeaten Utah, quarterback Isaac Wilson will remain the starter as the Buffaloes seek to improve an offense ranking last in Big 12 scoring.
- Although the Buffaloes are on a three-game skid, Sanders is not in immediate danger of losing his job as he works to address the team's offensive disarray.
