  • Some 177 personnel from the National Disaster Response Force , Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force , Fire Service, railways, and Indian Navy are sifting through debris. At least 13 survivors are sheltered near G Udaygiri.
  • Survivor Rinima Mallik, who walked 25 km to safety with her two children, said, "My husband and father are missing. We do not want to go back to the village." Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said the government is taking all possible measures.
  • Fire Service Director General Sudhanshu Sarangi said, "Rescue teams have recovered two bodies. The search operation will continue till Tuesday." The IMD warned Andhra Pradesh may face 100 kmph winds from another cyclonic storm on November 3.
