In 2019, Stanislas Renard, 18, was killed by the propeller of a boat that came to recover him after a kitesurfing course. The school was charged on 27 October for "involuntary homicide".
The 18-year-old was fatally injured by an outboard during a kitesurfing course at the Glénans School (Finistry) in 2019. His parents had been waiting for six years for further education.
