A dead male wolf was found on the hard shoulder of the E34 in Zoersel this morning, Het Laatste Nieuws reports. The animal has since been collected and an autopsy will be performed tomorrow. The wolf was more than likely hit by a car, but the investigation is still necessary, says Jan Loos of Welkom Wolf. It is not yet clear whether it is wolf Ben, a Dutch wolf, or a stray.
