Dawson new Municipal Court Judge for Huntsville

Devan Dee Dawson was named the Huntsville Municipal Court Judge on Jan. 7, by nomination from Mayor Russell Humphrey. The contract was offered after longtime Judge John Gaines was appointed at the County Court-at-law Judge.

With judges now in place, new Jackson CCID Court to begin hearing cases

“This court is a great addition to our capital city,” Governor Tate Reeves said at the ceremonial opening on Friday. The ceremonial opening of the Capitol Complex Improvement District (CCID) Court took place Friday in Jackson, with Governor Tate Reeves (R) saying safety will return to the capital city.
