The governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans), is ahead in every scenario in which he was named for election to the state executive in 2026, according to a Datafilha survey released this Thursday (10). In the first scenario, facing Vice President Geraldo Alckmin (PSB) —who ruled the state four times—, Tarcísio has 41% and the former governor, 25%. Businessman Pablo Marçal (PRTB) has 15%.
Governor would have 41%, against 25% for Alckmin, and beat other left-wing rivals with ease in a possible 2nd round
