Data center work in Independence is 'proceeding as scheduled'

With the Nebius data center project moving forward in earnest off Little Blue Parkway in eastern Independence, new members of the City Council say they are committed to keeping area residents – many of whom vehemently opposed the project – in communication about the project. “Nebius says they want to be a good neighbor, and we are hopeful that will be the case,” Council Member Jackie Dorman said.
