Four Quantum Firms Chosen to Build Utility-Scale Computers for DARPA

The program will now test whether each design can be built and work as intended, with more than 20 companies assessed since mid-2024.

DARPA has added four more quantum computing firms to its Quantum Benchmarking Initiative (QBI) as it looks to roll out industrial-scale quantum computers by 2033.
