Defenders Assemble! Super Hero Team to Reunite in Final Season of "Daredevil: Born Again"
Marvel Television showed new Daredevil: Born Again footage and reunited three Defenders stars, confirming the team’s return for the final season.
- On Thursday at New York Comic Con, Marvel Television presented footage from the upcoming third and final season of Daredevil: Born Again, officially confirming a reunion of The Defenders.
- After Netflix's 2017 series The Defenders brought the heroes together, the shows were canceled in 2019 following Avengers: Endgame. Charlie Cox returned as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
- Cox, Krysten Ritter, and Finn Jones appeared on stage to mark the return of their characters Murdock, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist. Mike Colter could not attend but will return as Luke Cage.
- The reunion follows a storyline teased during Season 2, where Luke Cage and Jessica Jones were revealed to have a child together named Danielle. Colter will rejoin the cast for this final season.
- Acknowledging that Season 3 will be the show's last, Cox joked that fans should get the Save Daredevil campaign ready again. This concludes the journey for the heroes.
