The checklist helps residents compare premiums, deductibles and provider networks before open enrollment, with guidance on subsidies and plan changes.
On Wednesday, Daniels Health Advisors released a 2027 health insurance checklist to help Orlando-area residents and self-employed workers prepare for upcoming enrollment, covering income estimates, provider networks, prescription coverage, and total plan costs.
HealthCare.gov lists the 2027 open enrollment period from November 1, 2026, through January 15, 2027, prompting guidance; consumers must select a plan by December 15, 2026, to begin coverage January 1.
CMS data shows 627,982 consumers in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties selected HealthCare.gov plans during the 2026 period, including 399,974 in Orange County, 151,333 in Osceola County, and 76,675 in Seminole County.
Licensed insurance agent Paul Daniels, NPN 20986580, advises residents to compare premiums, deductibles, and provider networks against household needs. Daniels Health Advisors receives commissions when clients enroll, with compensation varying by insurer.
Business owners can also discuss small-group health insurance and Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangements, or ICHRAs, which have separate eligibility requirements. Residents can request a consultation or review the Florida open enrollment guide at danielshealthadvisors.com.
