Indiana State Police report a fatal two-vehicle crash Monday night on State Road 162 near St. Meinrad in Spencer County. A 37-year-old Dale woman, Amber Gogel, died at the scene after her SUV crossed into oncoming traffic. The other driver, 40-year-old Amanda Kern, also from Dale, was seriously injured and is in stable condition at Deaconess Memorial Medical Center in Jasper.
