Voters will decide in the second round of elections on Friday and Saturday who will represent them in the Přerov and Litovel regions in the Senate for the next six years. In the first round, which was linked to the municipal elections, voter turnout was around 40 percent in both districts. Now it can be expected to be significantly lower, and the candidates are therefore mobilizing voters.
Five senators won the battle for seats in the upper chamber in the first round. Another 22 pairs will compete for the remaining positions in the second round. Follow the live vote count in the interactive infographic by Aktuálně.cz. The first interim results will start to be uploaded a few minutes after the polling stations close, i.e. on Saturday after 2 p.m.
