A publication in a clandestine forum claims to have exposed 3.7 GB of information linked to Jinko, a French platform to support cancer patients. The inventory would include diagnoses, treatments, contact details and thousands of private messages, although the complaint has not yet been verified by the company or by third parties.
The startup Jinko.care confirmed a major intrusion into its systems. The personal and medical data of more than 3,500 patients, including diagnostics, treatments and private conversations, were stolen and published free of charge on a cybercriminal forum. The hacker, who claimed the act, reportedly exploited a security flaw known to infiltrate into the databases.
