Croatia reduces VAT on wood and pellets and introduces zero VAT on solar panels

The Croatian government sent for parliamentary hearing a proposal to reduce the rate of value added tax on chips, pellets, briquettes and firewood for heating from 13 per cent to five per cent and a zero VAT rate for the delivery and installation of solar panels. The package of measures to mitigate the energy coaster will otherwise be presented by the government in the coming days.
