Croatia reduces VAT on wood and pellets and introduces zero VAT on solar panels

The government submitted to parliamentary procedure amendments to the law on value added tax. Foresees a reduction of the VAT rate to 5 percent on the delivery of wood chips, pellets and firewood, as well as a zero VAT rate for solar panels. The measures will reduce the revenues of the state budget based on VAT in the amount of about HRK 120 million annually.
