With Halloween over, the Capital Regional District (CRD) is reminding residents that candy wrappers and chip bags don’t belong in household blue bins or garbage. Instead, the CRD says flexible plastics, including wrappers from Halloween treats, should be taken to designated recycling drop-off locations. Residents can bring the materials to the Hartland recycling depot or one of the region’s three Beyond the Curb hubs, which are open on weekends.…
