The parties have until 30 October to appeal to the Council of State. In case of final annulment, a new election will have to be held within three months.
The administrative court of Montreuil cancelled on Wednesday 30 September the municipal elections of Noisy-le-Sec, in Seine-Saint-Denis, based on the fact that several candidates from the second-place list, winning seven seats, did not sign their own form.
Justice refers to the fact that several candidates from the second-ranked list did not sign their own form.
On Wednesday 30 September, the administrative court of Montreuil cancelled the elections won by communist mayor Olivier Sarrabeyrouse. Five candidates from the second finish list had not signed their own nomination papers. An appeal remains possible.
