County looks to retain current countywide millage rate

Hofstad shared that intention during the County Commission’s budget policy workshop on Tuesday in Shalimar. Fiscal ’25 starts on Oct. 1. The 3.83 countywide millage rate has been in place for seven years. The rate of 3.83 mills per $1,000 of taxable property is equal to $383 per $100,000 of property value.
