Member of Parliament of Ukraine and leader of the European Solidarity party Petro Poroshenko has met with Council of Europe Secretary General Alain Berset during a visit to Strasbourg to discuss the preparation of the new Council of Europe Action Plan for Ukraine for 2027–2030, titled Democratic Security for Ukraine.
The new Action Plan should enshrine issues of political pluralism, effective parliamentary control, independence of NABU and SAP, completion of judicial and law enforcement reforms
