Contralorría detected irregularities in an agency in charge of Chilean Scholarships during the direction of today Minister Etcheverry.

According to the audit, among other flaws, the agency did not manage the collection of 46 billion pesos for transfers between 2018 and 2022 and did not maintain control or record that identified beneficiaries. The lack of documentation “could result in fraudulent errors or irregularities being hidden, not noticed in a timely manner,” warned the supervisory body.
