"The service votes (postal ballots) were being segregated assembly-wise by taking them out from the strong room in the presence of authorised Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party agents. These were kept in the boxes meant for them," Anupam Rajan told PTI.

The Madhya Pradesh Congress has now backtracked from its allegations in which it accused the Balaghat collector of fraud and demanded action. It should be noted that in the letter written to the Chief Electoral Officer, it was accused of taking out postal ballot papers from the Strong Room and committing fraud.
