VERMILLION, S.D. — North Dakota State smoked South Dakota 21-2 in Summit League softball Saturday at Nygaard Field. Catcher Jessica Delatorre pounded a two-run homer as part of a 3-for-4 showing at the plate for the Bison. Starting pitcher Madison Wihlm worked five innings, allowing two runs on four hits with one strikeouts. NDSU (18-18, 2-3 Summit) scored 21 unanswered runs.
