Few details have been released about a fatality in Cobourg. The town’s police force was called to D’Arcy Street just south of Kerr Street Sunday evening after a call about a collision between a pedestrian and a train. Reports indicate there was a fatality. There was also a road closure, however, that has been cleared up. The coroner’s office has been notified and the investigation continues.

Cobourg Police investigated a train-pedestrian fatality on Sunday. Officers responded to D’Arcy Street just south of Kerr Street shortly after 6 pm for a suspected pedestrian fatality involving a train. D’Arcy Street was closed for several hours while Police and the Coroner investigate. They cleared the scene and reopened the road around 10:30 pm. No other details were provided.
