CMA Media, the media subsidiary of the shipowner CMA CGM, announced on Friday 12 September that it had acquired the video media after two months of exclusive negotiations. It is added to BFMTV, RMC or even "Provence".
For the past three years, Rodolphe Saadé has shaken the French media landscape, including the acquisition of BFM-TV, RMC and TNT RMC Découverte and RMC Story in Altice, as well as the acquisition of the La Provence group.
The shipowner finalized the acquisition of this well-identified player on social networks, in order to diversify and further expand its presence in the media.
Rodolphe Saadé's group is expanding its media empire further, after acquiring BFMTV, RMC and several press titles.
Brut now belongs to the Marseille-based CMA CGM group owned by billionaire Rodolphe Saadé. The completion of its acquisition was announced Friday, with the online video media joining the BFMTV channel and RMC radio in CMA Media.
