Clippers face the Raptors on 5-game losing streak
Los Angeles is missing five rotation players as Toronto tries to build on Scottie Barnes’ recent scoring surge.
The Los Angeles Clippers host the Toronto Raptors tonight in Inglewood, California, seeking to end a five-game losing streak.
Los Angeles lost 124-112 to the Golden State Warriors on Sunday, with Rui Hachimura scoring 24 points in defeat despite the Clippers leading the NBA with 21.0 turnovers per game.
Without Kawhi Leonard, sidelined for four weeks with a knee injury, Scottie Barnes has averaged a career-best 24.8 points, including 29 in Sunday's 131-125 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.
With five key Clippers players sidelined, coach Tyronn Lue said, "I thought offensively, outside of some bad shots, I thought we tried to play the right way."
Despite recent struggles, the Clippers have won seven of the last eight matchups against the Raptors, with the all-time series tied at 30 games apiece as Toronto begins a four-game road trip.
