THREE local ladies have raised well over £1,200 for Kilkeel Lifeboat Station. Karen Cousins, Elaine Matthews and Kelly Cowan climbed Ireland’s highest mountain, Carrauntoohil in County Kerry, at the weekend. So far, £1,270 has been donated online, far surpassing their goal of raising £300, and if anyone would still like to make a contribution, it’s not too late.
