Mars Wrigley has sold the limited-edition sweets for £1 or less in B&M, Home Bargains and Poundland.
Opal Fruits have returned to discount stores including Home Bargains and Poundland, where the retro sweets are available for £1 or less.
Originally introduced in 1960, the chewy sweets were rebranded as Starbursts 28 years ago, ending the original name before these recent limited-edition reappearances.
Fans celebrated the return, with one user commenting, "Britain is healing," while Another chimed in with the iconic tagline, "Made to make your mouth water."
The Forth Valley Food Guy shared the news on Facebook, where one fan posted, "None of that starburst nonsense," regarding the product's return.
Mars Wrigley has periodically re-released the treats, with Florence McGivern, senior brand manager for Skittles, citing successful limited-edition runs in 2021, 2024, and 2025.
