City of Columbus eyes water main project

For several years the City of Columbus has fought against their aging water and sewer infrastructure, patching breaks in their decades old cast iron water mains. In addition to the aged iron, a shortage of isolation valves along the main supply lines makes it difficult to maintain water pressure across the city in the event of a main break.
