Calexico to celebrate emerging young talent at ‘Youth Art Contest at the Border’ opening night

CALEXICO — The City of Calexico Recreation Department, in partnership with local arts advocacy groups, will host an opening night exhibition later this month showcasing creative works from regional youth.

The event is taking place Tuesday, September 29, at the Carmen Durazo Cultural Arts Center, located at 421 Heffernan Avenue, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
