City Council approves spending projects
Wichita Falls city councilors on Tuesday signed off on spending more than $15 million on various projects. Much of the money comes from $29.1 million the city received from the federal government's American Rescue Plan Act. Councilors also voted to to give $1.5 million of ARPA funding to 30 nonprofit agencies to cover their losses in the pandemic.
