Zero considered a "gross error" the "green light" given to the reformulated project of planting tangerines in the council of Alcácer do Sal and defended the revision of the Declaration of Environmental Impact (DIA).
CCDR-Alentejo has given green light to the Aquaterra group's project for the herds of Murta and Monte Novo in Alcácer do Sal. Approval was only possible after the ICNF and APA changed their previous opinions, but the decision continues to face strong challenges due to the impacts on protected habitats and water resources in the region.
The reformulated project for the planting of tangerines in the Alcácer do Sal county, in the district of Setúbal, obtained a favorable conditional Declaration of Environmental Impact (DIA), issued by the Commission for Coordination and Regional Development (CCDR) of Alentejo.
The municipality of Alcácer do Sal considers that "the conditions are not met for issuing a favorable opinion" on the Aquaterra group's project, which covers areas of the Natura 2000 Network.
