In municipalities where the state energy provider operates wind turbines or PV parks, residents can participate.
The Austrian energy supplier enables residents of 31 local communities to make a financial contribution to its photovoltaic and wind power plants. The model combines the purchase and the re-rental of solar modules with shares in wind turbines. Entry is possible from 500 euros, the annual remuneration is three percent.
