Urbana police are searching for a suspect who they believe to have shot a Circle K clerk during a robbery on Christmas Eve. Officers were called out around 10:44 p.m. on December 24 to the Circle K located at 507 W. University Avenue after reports of a shooting with injuries. When officers arrived, they found a store clerk who had been injured during the course of the robbery.
