Over 3,000 planes disappeared from flight radars on Christmas Eve. This is not due to strikes or bad weather, but to Ryanair, Europe's largest airline by fleet size. It will not be flying on December 25. The Italian daily Corriere della Sera reports that the planes will remain on the ground for a total of 36 hours.
