Summary by Ground News
Drazan represented Clackamas County in the Oregon House from 2019 to 2022 and served as House Republican Leader for the majority of her time in office. She left the Legislature to run for governor in 2022, but lost that race to Democrat Tina Kotek, the former Speaker of the House, by 3.5 percentage points. Republican James Hieb replaced Drazan as the appointed representative for Oregon's 51st District and won reelection to the seat in 2022.
