According to Chinese state media Xinhua, Xi said that China and Egypt "set an example of friendship, solidarity, and coordination between developing countries, with strong political mutual trust."
Chinese President Xi Jinping told his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on Monday that “external interference” in the Middle East must be repelled and that foreign powers must abandon the principle of applying double standards in the region, Chinese state media reported after talks between the two leaders.
