The Kansas City Chiefs have cut former Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Matthew Wright after the return of kicker Harrison Butker. Butker was activated from injured reserve and is back after missing over a month after having surgery for a torn meniscus in his knee.

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Chiefs are activating K Harrison Butker from injured reserve.   Butker has been out since Week 10 with a knee injury.  ESPN’s Adam Schefter adds Kansas City is releasing K Matthew Wright from the 53-man roster.
