BloodHound Q50 Autopsy Reveals Five Gunshot Wounds In Unsolved Killing

The autopsy says the 22-year-old rapper was hit in the head, neck, back and shoulder as about 50 rounds were fired.

  • Chicago rapper Bloodhound Q50, born Mikquale T. Cooper, sustained five gunshot wounds during an ambush at a Fuller Park gas station last month, according to a newly released autopsy report.
  • Six assailants in two vehicles ambushed Cooper as he exited his white Tesla at 4248 S. Wentworth Ave., where investigators recovered roughly 50 casings from rifles and 9mm handguns.
  • Officers received alerts warning of a "heightened potential for retaliatory violence" following Cooper's funeral, and his vehicle bore a "Funeral" sticker at the time of the shooting.
  • About a month before the attack, Cooper told rap vlogger DJ Akademiks: "I'm not chasing death, but... I'm not running from it either," acknowledging his vulnerability.
  • No arrests have been reported, and investigators remain "uncertain" if the slaying is linked to the death of Naseem D. Stevens, who was shot while fleeing the ambush.
