Chelsea Manager Alonso Dismisses Talk of Estevao Loan Deal

On Friday, Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso dismissed rumors that 19-year-old winger Estevao could leave on loan in January, stating there are "no discussions" regarding a short-term departure.
Speculation emerged as Estevao has played only 172 minutes this season with zero Premier League starts, remaining an unused substitute during Wednesday's Carabao Cup defeat to Liverpool.
Defending his team selection, Alonso noted, "The season is long and there will be moments for everyone," while describing Estevao's situation as an adaptation process following injury.
Estevao's path is blocked by Alonso's preferred front three of Morgan Rogers, Cole Palmer, and Joao Pedro, as the Blues seek to bounce back from defeats to Tottenham and Liverpool.
Chelsea hosts Manchester United on Saturday, with Alonso remaining committed to integrating the Brazilian teenager into the team later this season as the club aims to return to winning ways.
