CES: The Number of Unemployed People in Croatia Fell by 16.3 Percent in a Year

There are 63,196 unemployed people in CROATIA, which is 16.3% less than last year, and the majority of people are employed in the processing industry, trade and hospitality.
During August, a total of 9,236 new people were registered as unemployed, which is 4.7 percent less than in August last year.
According to daily data from the Croatian Employment Service, there are currently 61,630 unemployed people registered with the agency, and 17,623 job vacancies have been advertised.
At the end of August this year, 63,196 unemployed people were registered in the records of the Croatian Employment Service (CES), which is 16.3 percent or 12,299 people less than in August last year, according to CES data published on Thursday.
