Center Parcs Ditches Extremely Popular Family Service at All UK Holiday Parks
Center Parcs said limited demand drove the decision, ending short-term childcare for children as young as 3 months at more than 20 activity sites.
- Center Parcs confirmed it will discontinue its crèche service for children aged three months to three years at all five UK resorts by the end of next month.
- A Center Parcs spokesperson told Metro the company made this decision to "reflect guest feedback and limited demand for this particular activity" while evolving the guest experience.
- Previously costing around £30 for up to three hours, the crèche was one of more than 20 activities available within the Activity Den, where other offerings will continue as normal.
- Customers with upcoming bookings discovered the option was removed for holidays after the end of May, disappointing parents who planned child-free spa time.
- Future expansion plans include a sixth village in the Scottish Borders, north of Hawick and south of Selkirk, expected to open by 2029 with 700 self-catering lodges.
