Centennial CEO Steven Levin retires, paves way for President Paul Kurzawa's expanded leadership role
Paul Kurzawa, who joined in 2024, will take over as Centennial keeps its advisory support and management of Levin’s portfolio for 12 months.
Centennial founder and CEO Steven Levin announced his retirement effective June 30, with President Paul Kurzawa succeeding him as the company's new chief executive.
Levin founded Centennial and built the firm into a respected leader in retail real estate over the past 30 years, cultivating an inclusive, people-first culture driven by entrepreneurship.
Centennial oversees more than 25 million square feet of retail space across 18 states, while partner Lincoln Property Company manages over 720 million square feet of commercial space.
Levin will serve in an advisory capacity for 12 months to ensure a seamless leadership transition, continuing to manage his portfolio properties including The Shops at Willow Bend.
Kurzawa stated, "Our vision remains unchanged: to be the retail real estate industry's most trusted partner and operator," while transforming properties into vibrant community destinations.
