CASTLE FIRE TOPS 2,600 ACRES, 22 PERCENT CONTAINED

August 3, 2026 10:20 a.m.  The Castle Fire burning on the Umpqua National Forest is now listed at 2,630 acres and 22 percent contained as of midday Monday. 677 personnel are working on the fire which is burning 23 miles northeast of Tiller.
