Carlsbad man accused of robbery at Western Commerce Bank

CARLSBAD, N.M. (KRQE) – The Carlsbad Police Department arrested 38-year-old Michael George Valdez who is accused of robbing a bank. Officers were notified of a bank robbery at the Western Commerce Bank around 3:10 p.m. on Thursday. Suspect in fatal Santa Fe hit and run arrested in Texas Valdez was later found on foot and arrested. He was charged with robbery.
