Capt. A. Roy Brown Legion Branch 192 in Carleton Place has paid off its $50,000 pledge to the “Healthy Futures. Together!” capital campaign to build the new emergency department at the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital. To boot, the five-year commitment was fulfilled in three years.
