Two men died in a traffic accident on the West Autobahn (A1) in the Amstetten district early Saturday morning. Their car crashed into a guardrail, which pierced the vehicle. Another female passenger suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to a hospital in Linz, the Lower Austria emergency services reported to the APA. The A1 was closed in the direction of Vienna for the recovery operation.

On Saturday morning, the car crashed into a lead rail by two men on the West Motorway. The two men died, a woman was seriously injured.
