Cape Lob Ear goats performed best at the Indigenous Veld Goat Society's (IVG) tenth Livestock Carnival auction, held on 10 July at the Fire & Wine Centre in Pretoria. Three indigenous veld goat ecotypes were offered: Cape Lob Ears, Cape Speckled and Mbuzi’s.
