The court in Grasse handed down its verdict this Friday in the case of the fatal accident of the "small train" which had cost the life of an 18-month-old child in 2020 on the Robert Favre-Le-Bret promenade in Cannes. The city was condemned, as well as the conductor of the train and the company that operated it.

On Friday 18 April, the Grasse Correctional Court sentenced the City of Cannes, the operating company and the driver of the small tourist train running through the commune. In 2020, an 18-month-old girl had been crushed by the machine.
