The European Parliament has adopted the Report on the European Shield for Democracy and calls on the European Commission to complete as soon as possible the investigation into TikTok and possible foreign interference in the presidential elections in Romania in 2024. The document warns that misinformation, informational attacks and hybrid warfare put increasing pressure on European democracies.
