Canada Geese tangle with fishing line at Red Deer park

A whole lot of patience, and a net gun, were needed to capture a Canada goose tangled in fishing line at Bower Ponds earlier this month. Medicine River Wildlife Centre made many attempts over several days to capture the goose in order remove the very fine fishing line that was wrapped several times around one of its ankles.
