Cadbury's 'Unexpected' New Dairy Milk Chocolate Bar Flavour Is Dividing Opinions
The 180g limited-edition bar pairs Cadbury chocolate with a pink watermelon fondant center and extends into a cosmetics collection, the companies said.
Cadbury launched a limited-edition Dairy Milk Watermelon bar in Australia featuring a pink fondant center, created in collaboration with cosmetics brand MCoBeauty and currently available at Woolworths stores.
The 180g chocolate bar draws inspiration from MCoBeauty's Watermelon Glow product range. The partnership extends beyond chocolate to include a Cadbury-themed eyeshadow palette, lip peptide treatment, and an Icons Collection featuring mascara, eyeliner, pressed powder and setting puff.
Katrina Watson, ANZ director of chocolate and meals at Cadbury, said the collaboration aims to "spark conversation." MCoBeauty marketing head Lucy Robinson added the partnership was "an easy yes" to bring Dairy Milk into beauty.
The launch has divided online opinion, with one user telling NewfoodsUK they were "Not sure how I feel about this!!!" while another wrote, "Gosh, I would actually try this!!!".
Unfortunately, there has been no announcement regarding a release outside Australia. Fans wanting to try the bar can order imported versions from specialist retailer World Snacks, where it is priced at £7.99.
